Terms of service

By creating a LightBin Ledger account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

LightBin Ledger is a tool for tracking holiday lighting customers, their designs, install and takedown jobs, and the bins of lights a company stores. It does not replace your quotes, invoices, insurance, ladder and roof safety practices, or your own care of customers' property and lights. We aren't responsible for lost, damaged or misplaced bins or lights, missed install or takedown dates, prices, measurements or dates your staff enter, or disputes between a company and its customers.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The company owner controls who joins the company's account, and can disable users at any time.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.

Plans and billing

• Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no card. When the trial ends without a plan, your records stay readable but nothing new can be added until you subscribe.
• Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
• If a plan lapses, your data stays, but the account falls back to the Solo plan's limits and logins until you subscribe again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep LightBin Ledger running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email company owners about material changes. You can stop using LightBin Ledger at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
